Well, not too bad. They are transferring me to the pediatric ward at a big person's hospital overnight for observations - just in case I turn blue again.
I am the bravest girl in the world. Did not cry at all when putting in my IV or drawing for blood. Even the nurses said that's never happened before...
Yee yee said I turned blue tonight, so we came to the hospital to make sure I am OK.
Mommy said she can't smile because I am so sick. Cheer up mommy, I'm pretty tough.
I was at yee yee's house and I needed a new hat, she crocheted this hat for me in less than half an hour. So nice.
Good news, she's gained more than a pound since birth. Bad news, bronchiolitis, just like her big sis.
Just like her older sister Megan, mommy and daddy had to make a trip to sick kids hospital just as a precaution.
Poor Ashley.
You coughed a lot last night. You puked and couldn't sleep, crying more than I've heard you since birth.
Mommy didn't sleep. Daddy barely slept. We had to take turns holding you to our chest and rubbing your back to minimize the coughing. It was a bit worrying, you face turned best red and at one point we thought you were choking.
You now won't hardly eat. You have coughing fits. We were going to take you to the hospital this morning but you aren't as bad as I write this. If it gets worse obviously we'd take you to Sick Kids, but right now, we will feed you and let you sleep as much as we can.
Just look at this place. This is daddy and Mommy's room. Ashley has 3 places to sleep, her car seat, her swing, and her crib.
Guess where is the only place that she will sleep though?. That's right, in the bed between Mommy and daddy!
Ashley cried the whole night until she was wedged in the middle.
Spoiled.
I wear boy clothes, but I am all girl!
I am not eating so well. I take the left side of Mommy's milk machine ok, but I always ignore the right one. Mommy calls it hitting my gum wall.
I drink formula though because it comes out so much easier.
Happy 1 week kiddo.
You've been the perfect newborn. You wake up, feed, change diapers, and go right back to sleep. I've heard you cry like three times since birth.
You look at daddy when bottle fed formula. You burp pretty easily, rarely spit up, and most importantly, you haven't really peed or pooed on daddy yet.
All in all, such a joy to have so far.

Apparently, we have 3 babies in the house.
One baby always want the bottle.
The second baby always throw her bottle.
And the third, Mommy-baby, always drop her (water) bottle off the bed.
Doctor says you have a bit of jaundice. So you need to be in the sun everyday. Here is your first session. Nicely sharing the bed with mom
