Wonder week 12

Ashley has been having a growth spurt since yesterday. She drank mommy milk times two plus 6oz of formula last night and was still ready for her next feeding three hours later. Milk monster!

Daddy is too lazy to get me a hat, so instead he made me wear my pants on my head. It kept me warm, but now I'm whiney because they went over my eyes.

2 Months

This is Megan at 2 months.

Now this is Ashley. She is 9lbs, 21.5" long with a head circumference of 14.5". Pretty good with her vaccines today. Opposite of Megan, Ashley loved the oral vaccine, but cried for both shots. Only cried for 10 seconds each so not bad at all.

The hat might be just a bit big for the munchkin. She rocked it anyways...at night...in the dark...while sleeping.

Chilling

After a long night sleeping in mommy's arms until 3:30am, feeding at 4:30, 6, 7, 9, and 11:30, then sleeping until 12:30 today, finally cozy.

Mean girl

Tonight was really tough. You refused to sleep all day, and carried into 1 am. Your stomach probably hurts. 

We gave you gripe water, Ovol, boobies, milk from a bottle hot and cold.

We tried holding, rocking, patting, walking and patting, walking-rocking-patting. We tried hot hands on tummy, we tried your swing, we tried rocking your crib.

We tried sitting you up, lying you down, changing your diaper, changing your outfit. We tried wrapping you in a swaddle, putting on different hats, removing hats.

We sang.  We hummed.  We shooshed.  We talked.

We put you on the C pillow, Flat, sideways, on your tummy.

What did the trick?. Daddy sleeping in the guest room while you slept beside mommy on the bed.
