Lava lamp science experiment

It was a semi fail science experiment but girls loved it still!

Attempted to make our own lava lamp.

Oil ✔️
Food colouring ✔️✔️ (one drop green for Ashley, one drop blue for Megan)
Something that fizzes - tried aspirin, crushed aspirin, vinegar and baking soda... Not much action. Only a few bubbles but girls were happy and excited.
