Learning to sleep day 3

Something's up. You must be super gassy. You kept burping and farting at night. Wouldn't sleep by yourself. Cried the whole time. It was ok when daddy pat your bum and sang to you, but as soon as daddy left, you'd cry anew. 

Daddy ended up holding you until you fell asleep in my arms. That is NOT sleep training, my fussy little girl. We will try again tonight.

Gave mommy a rough day - refusing to nap. I let her put me down for 2 hours, but that's it.

Hi Ashley, 

   We are beginning to sleep train you. The first night, you cried 4 times. Each time Daddy went back in after 1 minute, and then patted your bum and sang to you. 

  Just like your Ga Jeh, we are using twinkle twinkle as the song of choice. You stared at me each time with the biggest smile on your face. 

  The second night we started your nighttime routine earlier, at 8:30pm, and in bed by 9pm. You only cried twice. Daddy didn't even have to go inside to sooth you. You cried at about 10:30pm for milk, and daddy dream fed you but leaving you in bed, lights off, with a bottle in your mouth. You drank about 5 ounces. 

  You cried again in the middle of the night. I'm not sure what time that was. Mommy took care of you. You slept even after Ga Jeh went to school at 9am, so all in all, not bad.

  Keep it up, little squirt.

I slept at the end of ga jeh 's birthday party. So tired. 

Happy 6 months!

Sleeps through the night. Always happy and smiling. Sits on her own. Loves jumping and babbling. Happy 6 months my baby hungry caterpillar!

Ashley slept through the night 2 nights in a row. That said, she doesn't sleep until 10 pm and will scream for milk at least twice until midnight. Still, it's great progress for you, and much easier on mommy.
